RE: Getting service for your BME.
Hi Folks,
Just want to give everyone concerned some info on BME. Keith must have seen my earlier plea in a previous post and he took time to email me and let me know that BME is indeed in the process of being sold and that all pre-orders etc would be took care of ASAP.

Is the motor still running good after the mods done by KrisW. Has anyone else had this done? If so how is it doing? I have a BME 115 and may send mine in.

If I was you I'd send a pm to Altavillan. I flew with him and RTK today. Both of them had 115's. Both run incredibly well in any attitude and throttle setting. No b.s., they run very well.
RTK's is running the BME developed 3 needle carb that hasn't yet been adjusted from when it first arrived. Altavillan's has a different carb and reed modification from what you have seen elsewhere. There's a strong possibility that some more 3 needle carbs are going to be done, but not by BME. Those things are awesome.
The situation looks bright enough that I'll be breaking out my Yak and 115 as soon as I have my thumbs back after a 6 month "vacation" from flying.

Well Keith if you are monitoring this thread, you have my Brand new 115 that I sent you last October (Oct 07) and never heard back from you, since it has been so long since I have heard anything back from you, I am no longer interested in the engine and would like a refund. Please email me at [email protected].
Thanks

How much is the asking price to acquire B.M.E. ? If all of us in RCU pitched in $5.00 each...would that be enough money? B.M.E. engines are right up there with ZDZ, DA, 3W...it might be a wise investment to purchase this company, acquire the mods from chris and the other fella and keep a great business afloat for this hobbie's sake.
