Trouble starting my 3w 50i
This is my first gas engine and i am haveing trouble getting it running. I have the fuel tank set up with a vent from the top of the tank and hanging out the bottom and another line to the carb. I also have the choke set up on a servo. Now when i try to start the engine the fuel is not moving to the carb?? I choke it but that doesn't help either. I have the low needle open about 1 1/2 turns.
What am i doing wrong???
Thanks
Chad

Did you every have the engine running? I had trouble getting a 3W 70iUS running the first time. I called Aircraft International and Gerhardt suggested that the carb diapharam was dried out and wasn't pumping gas. He told me to squirt a little gas directly into the carb and possibly a little fuel directly into the cylinder. I did that and it starting pumping gas and now runs perfectly.

The engine has been run before. I tried open throttle and that didn't do anything either. I will try putting fuel directly in the carb tomorrow.
