I'm interested in hearing more about Brillelli Engines. In particular the 26 SSR, however anything anyone has to say good or bad about Brillelli Engines I would like to hear. Please, only comment if you have first hand knowledge about these products, own, use, buddy uses, etc. Thanks in advance!

My only experience has been with the 366GT---So far both of them have been flawless in performance. You wont find a better guy to deal with than Scott and he stands behind his work 110%. I sold both of my 50cc motors and replaced them with Scotts 60cc and have never looked back. Hopefully soon Ill be giving his 120 twin a spin too. I don't think you will find a bad word about him or his motors anywhere.

So what's there to talk about?

They make great engines that produce ample power and have an excellent service policy with matching service peformance. They are always there if you need help. Not the cheapest, but if you want power, quality, service, and a long engine lifespan you should expect to pay a little more than the bottom dollar bunch. In tools you have the same option, you can buy Craftsman, Snap-on or other high end tools or get the Thorsen tools from K-mart or other cheap brands at Wal Mart. You know going in the door which ones will be the best and last forever.

Have been hucking the 36cc on my EF 74" Yak all summer. Never had a hic-up. Since I brought Brillelli to my field 3 more have shown up. Two more 36cc and my 60cc on the 88" EF YaK. Agree with what everyone has said. Great engines with even better customer service. GO SCOTT

I have a 46 and 60 engine. Service and support are 2nd to NONE! Nuff said.

I have the 26 SSR and all I can say is WOW.... Its an amazing engine, I have a MAC 18x6 and this engine is spinning the prop at crazy speed.... Noisy and powerful is all I can say.... Scott is also a great guy and is always around giving support and helping when needed.... I am going for a Menz 18x6 or 17x10 to see if I can get the speed down....

This is an engine I will buy again with no regrets....

I have 3 Brillelli engines(36GT, 40GT & 46GT). They are all great engines. Each start easy and produce the power one wants when needed. Scott and Mark at Brillelli are there when you have problems and give that extre customer service you don't find in a lot of company's these days. Buy a Brillelli you won't be sorry.

I have the 46. I wanted to get a couple of extra prop bolts and another little part. E-mail Scott, asked how much...

...they showed up in the mail a couple of days later. No charge. Customer service is worth it's weight in gold and Scott figured that out a long time ago.

I also have a 46GT and although I still have some break-in and tuning to do, I am impressed with the engine. Service is also the best I have ever dealt with!

Can't really add anything that hasn't already been said. Have owned 1 25, 2 46s, 54, a 60 and a 26ssr. I don't have much time on the 26 since I was shot down on 3rd flight.. but I can tell you it was already turning an APC 18x6W at 8750 with about 12 oz through it.

I have been playing with them and dealing with Scott for almost 3 years.. was a big early on supportor and nothing has changed except the line has expanded and is still expanding.. I should have the new 80 soon and is a 120 twin in the works.

I actually met Scott and became a team pilot last Oct. After hanging out with Scott for the weekend it's easy to say he is just an all around great guy who loves working on engines and will do anything to make some one happy. Mark was even working on another brand of engine that weekend just to help out. Nothing but postive things to say about the products and service.

Yes. Scott E. is a fine person, very straight up, NO B.S. guy who absolutely tells it straight. He stand behind everything he sells, makes it right 100% of the time if there is ANY problem, and does a lot of things just because they are "the right things to do" with customers.

I've owned at least one of every engine model he has produced since he started except the newest 26SSR and the 36. All were very well made conversions of high quality machining and assembly.

Any of us could do a LOT worse with a great many other engine manufacturers/distributors, that is for sure.

The other guy that operates like Scott, in my experience, is Bill Oberdieck of Taurus Engines.

Hey man, i have the 26ssr. I put this on a 120 size h9 stik. It runs great and has more than enough power. My friend has the spe 26. The 26ssr is a lot stronger in torque. Starts very easy and in the air you can feel the power through the stiks. I would buy this brand all day long.

Scott & Mark at Brillelli build and test each engine themselves. This is an American Co. that is dedicated to providing the customer with the best possible engine thay can build. And they support the customer better than most other companies after the sale. If you have ever owned a Brillelli you know what I can talking about.

I bought a 46 from Scott and have had it in both my Christen Eagle and now my Ultimate. Love the motor. Runs like clockwork, and starts really easily. Scott's a really good guy to work with as well...his service is second to none!

I bought a Brillelli 54 off of Jake. Serial #2!

It's an awesome engine. Excellent build quality, light, no vibration, and starts easy. Very easy to operate.

I had it on a CA Extra, but sold the extra... I'm putting it on a Giles MX2 I recently traded for.... should be a fun combination!

ya those 54s were great serial #1 was upgraded to a 60 (new piston and jug) last year when it was between planes... run just as good just a touch more power

You guys have missed my question, which was: Is the Brillelli engine manufactured by Brillelli, or for Brillelli, or is it a another manufacturers engine which is converted by Brillelli?

I understand that everyone appears to be very happy with the service and quality of the product and I shall be buying the 26SSR. I thank all, for their opinions, but was interested in an answer to this last question.
