New to Gas
I'm just about to take my first "Gasser" plunge...
I bought a new "Dietrich" 50cc Extra 260 in the Red,Yellow, Black theme with a DA-50R and was wondering the best way you experenced guys or gals mount your spinner? I have a Dave Brown 4" Ultimate to get started with and need some advice on mounting it to my DA-50? All help or advice would be fully appreciated!
Thanx,
RickB [8D]

RE: New to Gas
Since you will have that engine a long time do yourself a favor and get the prop drill guide for DA engines. I cut my spinners with a dremel and use a carbide bit. Have some stiff grease when you cut the aluminum. Apply a small amount of grease to the bit to keep the bit from gauling. If the aluminum gets warm stop and cool it down. Take your time and get a nice fit. Make a template that fits the shape of the prop, then transfer that to the spinner and mark where to cut. Troy Built has a few pointers on their web pages about how to cut a spinner.
