I hope I can help you here. Any of these engine will do and they are very close in price so it comes down to what do you like. I have 2 of the engines and I can speak for the. I have the XYZ & LSpro(SV-26). Both are good engines, but there is more quailty built into the XYZ engine. Both engines are very easy to start and have good power. They will not compete with the likes of the Zenoah's or Brillelli 26 engines. They will be good for your war bird. I really like the XYZ better, but it my cost a few dollars more. Ron at Southeastrcengine is a great guy and stands by his engines. Good Luck

I can only report on the CRRC pro 26 as I have installed one on a TWIST 150...
And all I can say is GREAT !!!!!!!!

The Twist weighs 10.1 lbs with the motor and complete SMOKE SYSTEM !!!
We ran thrust tests with different props...

With a 16x5 at 9500 has 14.5 lbs of thrust.... A REAL SURPRISE !!!!
WILL ROCKET OUT OF A HOVER . WITH SMOKE ON...

It received MUCH attention at our Spring Opener Big Bird...

Easy to start but reqiires more break in than a DA or DL...

Worth every cent of $215 !!!!!

Walt....

Looks like the Chinese finally got it right, they cloned a G26, the best running of all 26cc engines...
Brillelli uses a Chung Yang engine for the 26SSr...The Chung Yang is a clone of the Zenoah RC260...
G26 is Japanese..
Chung Yang is Taiwanese..

I can only report on the CRRC Pro GF26I.
I have never had a dead stick.
It sips fuel.
Easy starting.
Great on power.
Has flawless transition.
I have it in a Seagull Laser 200 @ 11lbs. 2oz.
Running a CRRC Pro pitts muffler.
I was using an APC 17 X 6 with idle of 1950 rpm and a top end of 9350 rpm.
But the prop tips rip when ever wide open. ( noisy )

CRRC Pro China has just sent me some SY 16 X 8 props to test.
They are up to par with the APC 17 X 6 that I was using.
Idle @ 1950-2050 rpm with a top end of 8750rpm.
Same performance , much quiter, and looks awsome with the simulated carbon fiber look.

Next time out I am going to do Pull test and speed number ( radar gun ) between the two props.

Can't say anything about the other two engines since never tried one.
But with the way my CRRC runs, I am in for more.

Hey Walt and Sage
The differance in a pound between our planes, mine pulls slowly, slowly from a hover.
I would think you would get more rpm's with the 16 X 5 since I am at 9350 with a larger, more pitch prop.
Maybe it is the stock muffler or that Zinger holding you back.
Does your prop tips rip at that rpm with a 16" prop?

On our tests we were looking for lbs of thrust not rpms for 3d flying..
As I mentioned a 16x5 gave us over 14 lbs on a 10.2 lb plane...

All props over this size were 11lbs and under...
Any props under 16x5 over reved the motor...

We are so sold on this motor that myself and two friends are purchasing
five new motors at Gary Weavers BIG BIRD next month...

OK, flew again tonight.
My CRRC Pro GF26I keeps getting better with every tank.
New rpm numbers, some level flight mph, and digital scale pulls.

SY 16 X 8
Top end @ 8900 rpm ( that up 150 rpm from last flying day )
Average MPH of left and right passes is 82 mph.
Pull in pounds on a digital fish scale is 13 lbs.4 oz.

APC 17 X 6
Top end @ 9450 rpm ( up 50 rpm from last flying day )
Average MPH of left and right passes is 83 mph.
Pull in pounds on a digital fish scale is 13 lbs. 13 oz.

Verticle is a tick better with the APC, but knife edge is better with the SY.

Just remember, these are two different size props.
I wish I had a APC 16 X 8 to test head to head against the SY.
Also as a comparison, I had the OS Max 1.60FX on this same plane with a Master Airscrew 18 X 6 and it was pulling 97mph in level passes.

I like the SY and am keeping it on my 26.
