Confirmed my carb is a Walbro SDC. Also some pics of the underside of the Ultimate. Comments welcomed...please ignore the "oversize" cowl cutting.... I have a lot of practice to do to get that right...

The plugs dont stick out as far as they would on my 260, I have a 102cc here for evaluation. I definitely wont be cutting up my cowl for it to fit.

Anyone know where I cant get inserts to go to the CM-6. I guess I will need new caps as well.

Plan B ?????

Still working on that, The China carbs like come on the DL and others seem to be doing well just waiting to see how they work out for others

Milton
The carbs that came on my shipment were made by Emas machine company. Cannot find a website yet, but look like an exact copy of a Tillotson.

The Emas is what came with the DL 100 that I have, too. Bet that's it.

It has been over a week, any running or flying with the engine?
Compare it to the DL-100 that you had.

I just bought one of these as well. May as well get on the thread now so I get notices of updates to the thread. I haven't bought an airframe for it yet but will most likely get an Aeroworks Yak. I hope the Plug caps fit inside the cowl.

Judging by the video of the Yak, That is going to be the new engine for my Magic hand 107' Sukhoi.
Are they available in Australia yet?.

I received my 102 today and overall it looks very good. I will find out tomorrow when I pick up my plane if the plug caps will fit inside the cowl. If not I will have to do the CM-6 conversion as I do not want to cut up my cowl and have to plug caps sticking out. It is a radial so hopefully I won't have to. Quality wise I am very pleased. If it runs half as good as it looks it will be a winner.
Thank you very much Milton.

Although mine is still UN-Flown, I can say it runs WHOLE as good as it looks.
The plug cap/plug size issue is an annoyance, to be sure, and I would have preferred NOT to have carved up my cowl, but I also didn't want to go through getting a second ignition, locating adapters, buying new plugs, etc.

Hope yours fits in your plane without surgery.

Picked up my Yak today. I am glad to say the plug caps fit inside the cowl with room to spare.

Aeroworks 35% Yak 54 in the old Yellow scheme. I just got back home 2 hours ago. It was a 600 mile round trip to go pick it up.

I bought a drill guide for a DL/DA-100 and I see it doesn't line up with my prop washer. The 102 has a slightly larger bolt circle diameter. It is the same diameter as a DL/DA-50 but with 6 bolts instead of 4. I guess what I will do is mark the 6 holes with a marker and the DL-100 drill guide and then use the DA/DL-50 guide to line up 2 holes at a time and drill them like that.

Just mount the prop backwards on the motor, put the washer on and mark the holes. Then drill with bench drill.

Just got back from the post office with the engine. I took it over to get some accurate weights on it as I have nothing at home to get a good weight.

Engine with prop bolts, muffler bolts and gaskets, and spark plugs...2889 grams>>>> 6.37lbs>> 6lbs 5.90oz
Both mufflers.......................................... .................................178 grams>>>> 0.39lbs>> 6.28oz
Ignition with wire loom installed on all wires..................................173 grams>>>> 0.38lbs>> 6.10oz

Total weight............................................ .................................3240 grams>>>> 7.14lbs >> 7lbs 2.24oz

Good to have that info, thanks for sharing.

It is 10.24oz heavier than the DL100's advertised weight, but there is a post in the DL thread showing 6lbs 9.6oz on a scale. So that would only make it 8.64 oz heavier. Not allot when you think about a half pound more on a 28 pound plane with 50 or so pounds of thrust. A set of canisters adds about 2 lbs in comparison. Also if everything works out for the best maybe this engine will be a little more powerful and longer lasting, double ring pistons and a 3 bearing crankshaft should help.
