If I had to make a choice between the 3mm and another 3 bearing engine it would go to a Taurus 52 if one was available. Much better engine. Between a DA 50 and another 50 it would go to a DLE 55 or a BME 58, depending on what I wanted to spend. The BME 58 would win out over a DA 60 on a weight basis alone. Pwer would be about equal. If I wanted a whole lot of torque in a 50 to 60cc class engine it would go to MVVS 58 or a 3w-55.

Preice, weight, and application should all be include in the decision making process. Price alone is a poor qualifier.

yep i still have my Taurus 52,still the SMOOTHEST 50 i have ever ran into and has the strongest midrange, spins a Mejzlik 22-8 prop at 7200.i did change the ignition over to a Rcxel,i just got less ignition interference with it than the CH. parts will be fun to find for the 52, when that day gets hear.
