Default slight click at bottom dead center

I have a new zdz 210. Bought 2nd hand but never runthis was the claim, and the engine does look prestine, no fuel smell, etc. Decent compression but not as high as it woudl be for a broken in engine. So far so good.

When I turn the cranck shaft I hear a very light click when pistons pass the bottom dead center. I think it is due to a very small play in the connecting rodscrank shaft junction. Until now I only has cheaper engined (such as peak 65cc), whcih also have this click. Is this nirmal for zdz 210?

Thanks

It's normal for every one of our engines.

You have to have some play, If the rod, needle bearing and crank were a tight fit there would be no room for oil to get around the needle bearings and also with the wrist pin bearings.

The machinery handbook calls for .0003 to .0004 thousands clearance for needle type, and torrington type bearings. The click usually becomes louder when the engine is warmed up.
