Default Brave Heart 50cc

Has anyone heard of this engine? I think it is actually a DL 50 but with a different name. I'll get some pics of one later to compare. It comes with a muffler and ignition, which looks like RCEXL with brave Heart printed on the module.

Are there any reviews or anywhere I can read up on this engine? I did a google search and came up with nothing. I'd like to know a little about it.

Not yet. I've only seen pictures of the 100 so far. To my knowledge none of the product has yet been on the open marlet.

They are Chinese.

I have a few of them, a couple 50s and a 100. They run well and are reliable so far, but I only have a lot of time on the 100.

As Pat said they are not a copy of anything although they borrow ideas from several engines. The cylinder has exhaust ports like a DA, the spark plug is in the center like a 3w and the internal porting looks like a DL. The 100 mounts on standoffs unlike any other 100 that I have seen.

The 100 is smooth and reliable and has good power. Not as much as a DLE-111 but similar to a DA-100.

I can't say much about the 50s, I've only made a few flights with it. It is configured like a DA-50 with rear carb and standoffs.

I've posted a few photos.

BraveHeart Engines are available from Superior RC
http://www.superiorrc.com/engines.html

They are a new brand of engine, and comparable to the DL and other brands that are not as expensive as the DA or 3W.
