ccrc 45 pro crappy in air
I know this has been discussed before but i just got my Brieghtling with 45cc pro on it and it runs great on ground but after lift off, it slobbers misses and carries on so that i can't get over 1/2 throttle without it missing too badly. I've ran the equalizer tube from carb backplate to inside fuse and that did'nt help. I also tried field adjusting regulator arm inside carb to cut back delivery slightly and that only changed needle position but did'nt help otherwise. This appears to be a fuel delivery problem and i had the same prob on another one of these engines and after running equalizer line it cleared up but so far no such luck on this one. Thanks

Yes but it's not slanted but rather a horn end.

You do not want air blowing across the intake.

Bummer taking the horn off did'nt help any that i can tell. Maybe it's just plain ole missing in the air making me think it's carb related?I'll definately change plug as i've heard some bad things about the plug that comes with it.

RE: ccrc 45 pro crappy in air
warbird72 or anybody else..
I was installing my C&H ignition module (Syncro Spark) in our Honda GX31 powered 12'Telemaster when the vibration from the drill caused the trigger wire to get into the speedbore drill.. Yep.. I know.. Pretty stupid but I opened up the box and evaluated under a 10x glass then re-soldered the wire bundle based on the pattern of the ripped out wires from the solder pads on the PCB.. I wouldn't dare put power to it (old reliable, 10 years old, never missed a beat) but I need to know if I did it right.. Can anybody on the list tell me the wire sequence (rd, wh, blk?) to insure that I did not make a mistake?
Bills website is down, apparently he does not feel well and I don't want to bother him with such a foolish mistake..
Any help out here? a picture maybe?
Thank you
Al
