Default How to install smoke fitting on a canister

Hello,

I have a DA85 in an Aeroworks Extra 260 with a Slimline pitts muffler. Because of noise restrictions at our field, I now have to change to a quieter system, so I am going to use an MTW canister. My question is how do I set this up for smoke? I am thinking that I would drill and tap a hole in the header and install a standard pressure fitting, such as an 8/32 Dubro pressure fitting. But, since the fittings are usually brass and can't be tightened that hard, can I just use some Permatex on the threads of the pressure fitting to make a tight seal, or do I need to solder the fitting using silver solder?

Thanks,

-Ed B.
