Ohlsson & Rice Type 133
This may not be the correct forum but...
One of my wife's co-workers brought this motor in for her to show me.
Based on it's green shroud color I believe it's a replacement motor for a small military generator.
The part#, etc. is on the box.
This person is especially interested in any manuals, etc on this motor.
Thanks!
JLK

Yes, it is. There is a whole sub culture about this engine and its' varients. Google it up. The engine was used for generators, pumps, chainsaws. powered skateboards, bicycles etc. Touted as an industrial engine. Some have converted it to RC use with its' magneto ignition or with all that removed and a glow plug adapter in place of the spark plug. Replacement parts are available including reproduction carb pump diaphrams and decals. The non-mil versions were typically red. I have the Tiny Tiger 500 watt genset with this engine on it. If you can't find about it on the net, PM me and I will try to email the info I have on it. All the info I have is from the net, except the original manual which may not reproduce very well. The engine you show appears in excellent condition, maybe even new. It likely would command a very good price from a collector. Good luck.

Right...do not be in a hurry to sell that engine. Keep it and take it to engine shows. You will meet people that can tell you more about it too. Capt,n

That looks somewhat similar to an engine I had on a Dubro Shark helicopter, late 1970s. It was red and had been converted to glow. IIRC it was 1.3 c.i.
