ANOTHERE DA SERVICE STORY
Just had to give a pat on the back to Desert Aircraft.
I had to send a da50r in for some repair work after the cylinder base bolts broke and the jug departed the engine while in flight.I found the cylinder that was just a paper weight now, along with the muffler with a big dent in it.The lower part of the piston skirt was broke off also,and the spark plug cap was rip off.
DA sent me what i called a new engine,they used the crankshaft, engine case, rod, and carb and they repaired the plug boot.
Everything else is new along with bearings.
This is a five year old engine and all i had to pay for was the returned shipping.
