RE: dle 30cc manual???
Anyone has a link or can email me an engine mounting template where the holes would be drilled with cross marks that I could print and line up on firewall and drill? That would be helpful. Thanks again.

RE: dle 30cc manual???
A few of points about the break in. Do not use Lawnboy, ever. Use a good mineral or synthetic. Amsoil is not a good synthetic. Do not use Amsoil. Synthetics extend the break in time. 32-1 for the first 3 hours (minimum) of run time. The break in can require several more hours of run time.
Best way to perform the break in is to initially tune (all engines must be tuned) the engine on the ground, then go fly. Do not tune an engine when cold. Let it warm up first. No 3d hovers or torque rolls during the break in period. Normal flying that generate reasonable heat cycles does the best job of breaking in. Also the fastest. The average user will be able to determine when the engine is broken in by examining the piston ring through the exhaust port. When the ring is polished and shiney, with no edges or lines remaining on the edge of the ring from the manufacturing process, the engine is broken in.
Do not expect a low or reliable idle until the engine is broken in.

RE: dle 30cc manual???
TOM.
Can I ask another probably stupid question?
All my ignition units thus far have a power lead,a sensor lead and a HT lead but my new rcxell unit with the DLE has and additonal three wire lead exiting the unit at the same point as the sensor cable what is this for ?
Have I been given a twin unit by mistake?
Regards
Mick.

All of the new ignitions made by Rcexl have a new lead on them as you have found. It is for hooking up a tach that Rcexl came out with last year. If you do not have a tach just leave it unhooked. Below is a pic of what the new tach looks like that you can buy if you wish.

RE: dle 30cc manual???
I just bought an Su-26m/DLE-30 from VVRC as well; very excited about it!
Are you doing a build thread for yours?
I was thinking about it since I haven't really seen once for the Gold Wing Su-26.

RE: dle 30cc manual???
That black goo can sometimes collect in the muffler a bit. Take it off & clean the insides...if you don,t it will keep putting specks on your airplane finish. Also a rich mixture...flying slow to much will coat the iside of the exhaust....because it it not warming up good inside exhaust to help clear the condensed oil out. Capt,n PS, this is wose in cold climates.
