Default rotating the jugs on a DL 100

I need to rotate the jugs on my DL 100 180 degrees. Do I need to rotate the piston and connecting rod as well?

Thanks in advance

Piston and ring, yes. The pistons have a direction mark on the top that should always point to the exhaust port.

I dare ya to try rotating the rod

Guys please forgive the question, but I dont know so im gonna ask, what does that mean to rotate the jugs and why do you do that on a twin cylinder engine?

Typical for a twin, the exhaust is out the bottom and so is the carb.

He apparently wants one of these on the top?

If you turn the cylinder jugs 180 degrees, the exhaust and carb are opposite each other

Thats right. This motor is going in a 1\3 scale DR1. With the standard set-up, the carb is hitting the front mout of the landing gear. This can not be modified. The only way around it is to rotate the motor so the carb is on top(plenty of room under the cowl), plus... It lets me make up a nicer muffler system now that the carb is out of the way.
