Well Michel. I give you the first place vote for ignition wars.

Steve you get 2nd place for the oil wars.
I don't think the rest will live up to the hype.

I think we are all pitiful but it does make the time go by.[sm=thumbs_up.gif]
Hi

Hey ,.............. we,er all waiting for the engines to come out and complain . Better than talking about the dog staining the carpet

Hey guys

Pitts muffler for the JC 28?  I've been asked this a few times.  Does anyone know a good source for one and a link (so I know exactly which one to send them to)?
Thanks!
Tim

Hi

Have you been keeping up with this http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_10...m.htm#10101122

Now this is scary

Michel
The main thing is to look at the last page, where Antique has posted:

"For all you doubters, I have purchased over $14,000 dollars worth of RC EXL ignitions...I guess I can qualify as a distributor..Nope, no retail sales, all $14,000 dollars wotth were for my own use... .I just ordered more this morning...There is NO friction between myself and XU Liang, and never has been....Just something wrong with the E mail, and mine was not the only problem..."

Just got my copy of MA and there is an ad in it for Jc Engines. The ad shows a 23, a 28 evo II, a 36, and a 60 with a promise of others offered.

There was a link in the ad and when I went there they are not showing any US or UK dealers yet, but I can't imagine them advertising in MA if they have no plans to sell here.

Anyone know what the difference(s) will be between the Jc and YD engine lines?

Wingman..The $14000 was in the last 3 or 4 years, not today...Today I bought 10 more to finish up some conversions...Xu Liangf is not going anywhere, almost 100% of all chinese and most other engines use his ignitions,, with good reason..They WORK...

Ignition is the top dog. That is why Michel got first place.

How much longer till the 60 comes out with the RC Xell ignition?

All I can say is it is nice out and usually it is cold out this time of year with snow on the ground...I'm out ot here. Going flying.

Lucky you. The wind is howling around here. Just right for Halloween.

I never realized you bought another Sbach Tom. When did you pick that up? It should be a nice combination with the 56 for sure.

Hey Michel. Can't tell you right now I never weighed it. Maybe Bob can weigh it and let us know. If I had to guess I'd say around 17#. It's an 89 in WS. Pretty big for a 50 size. ( I shouldn't have said that.)

I`m to cheap to buy a set of scales. I might want to weigh my self and don`t want to do that. It`s light enough to fly good on a YDA-56

I'd put it in my T/F P47. but it already has an engine. A T/F P-51 would be a piece of cake for the 56. Just my opinion.
