All 3 of you are close enough to come to the Gas Engine Fly In. Your'e going to make it this year, right Andy.
We'll have a club meeting next week and decide on the new date. Let you know when. It would be great to see you guys.

Just make sure it is in the "Rollercoaster season" .

I have family looking forward to kicking off from there on the tour we are planning on (She is a Rollercoaster addict)

Plus I have a buddy who has offered me a fly of his full size SBach. If I can't get her wrecked on a rollercoaster, I figure the SBach will work out. Been dying to have a go in one since they got released. Should be a good trip.

Does your buddy live around Cleveland,Oh.? There is one there with the cereal #001. Its only 1hr. From the best Roller Coaster park in the US. Cedar Point. It's only 3.5 hrs. From Converse, In. Where the Fly In will take place.

If you can't find your buddy with the full size. We can hook you up on one of these on a buddy cord.

I have my eye on a Syssa made here in the USA. It will go in my recently acquired AW Cessna 195. Good luck Henry, I still respect your goals and integrity, but I do not see light at the end of your tunnel.
You won't go wrong with this engine. The SAP180HP is reliable and powerful, and the support very good. Ran it exclusively in 2010 in a competition plane. This a truly great sport engine that I adapted to competition needs

But I am still hoping and waiting for the YD-Aero 38 cc along with a couple of my buds. Hopefully the latest version will have better midrange response than other engines of this size

Henry, BTW I appreciate the advertised pricing of the 38 but speaking for me and my buds who are patiently waiting all these months, we could afford premium pricing for a good product. In our application the engine is going against glow engines costing $100's more. For what it's worth. The SAP for example costs 430$ and the guys I associate with have no trouble with the price

I got to find out when the Jet Rally is.
In August, I'm more likely to make it as well. The earlier date fell off the calendar for me for various reasons but August is typically a less busy time.

If you give me a promise I'll make it in august just for you.

I thought you were afraid to fly over the Ocean cause you were afraid of sharks.

Mate, it's those sharks. Not the ones in the water but you know what I mean

Seriously, my schedule and finances too a sharp 90deg turn because we bought a house and therefore have a lot to look at (like a nice big workshop out the back)

If this site will be working properly by then, we may be able to schedule something for Aug.
I'm a paying customer here and even if I wasn't, I have never known a commercial site go down as frequently as this one [sm=thumbs_down.gif]

F3A World Championships Jul-23 through Aug-1st.
RC Aerobatics Aug-2 through Aug6.

So if we make the Gas Engine Fly In the first Weekend in August. People can come early and see the best pilots in the world or stay late and see the best pattern fliers in the US. Or you can just hang out with the best fun loving Gas engine flyers in the world. It's up to you. You can't go wrong.
Just a little heads up. Some of the best pattern flyers in the country practice at our fields before the Nats.

Here's the shed ya need Ari
It's whats kept me busy the past few weeks - my new hanger for the models. Knocked down 2 smaller ones to put up this one. She ain't too happy that the nodels are filing up the stables at the moment (that's why I need to keep her happy with the Rollercoasters )

Might take you up on that buddy cord offer, I just get so nervous in a crowd

Tom there is a chance I can touch base with you next June. I am trying to set up a trip down to the 2011 XFC. If you are not too far away I'll try and get together with you for a lunch or something. Hey maybe you can set me up with a buddy box too.

I'll be hanging out at the XFC. I will definitely have lunch and find some time to go flying. I live 40minutes west of AMA. I drive back and forth every day. How many days are you coming for?

The Buddy chord just allows mode one to fly a mode two plane without having to change anything. Super 08 probably won't need the cord.

There is more then Roller Coasters there. One thing that Ari would be interested in is the Worlds Longest Bar in Put In Bay. Cedar Point has the worlds tallest wooden coaster. At lest they advertise it that way.

What else you want to know?
