Turnigy 52cc New Thread and Questions
Ok Guys:
Ran my Turnigy 52cc 3 time today. Got the idle to 1550 RPM on the third run but I think it like the 1620-1640 range just a little bit better. This engine started on the 3rd flip and is very easy to hand prop. I built a test stand out of 3/4" plywood and I stand on the bottom half. I went to full throttle for about a 2 second burst, I saw 7700 on the tach, Also the engine was pulling me out of the garage. I have a smooth surface and I weigh 223 lbs. I could not believe it. Anyway I am very impressed with this engine.
Here is what I am using.
1. Ryobi 2 cycle oil. 32:1 ratio
2. 20x8 Zinger prop
3. Factory plug.
Questioins are:
1. What is the part # and manufacturer of a replacement plug?
2. I need a spinner. The prop bolt is not drilled. What are my options? I am building a Morrisey bravo for this engine.
Thanks

Where can you find any specs on this engine? its like its non existent? Mine wont run for crap. the diaphragm will only pump fuel its the screw holding it on is really loose to the point to where it leaks fuel. i still need to tune the needles but cant find any stock settings anywhere? <input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"></input><input jscode="leoInternalChangeDone()" onclick="if(typeof(jsCall)=='function'){jsCall();}else{setT imeout('jsCall()',500);}" id="jsProxy" type="hidden"/>

Try 1 1/2 from closed on the L needle, and 2 3/4 from closed on the H needle. When you close the needles to make the new settings, be sure and count the number of turns it takes to close the needles. Write the number of turns down so that you can go back to them if needed. They are supposed to be set fairly close from the factory.
