DL 50 won't start
I have tried almost everything and my Dl 50 still will not start. It has no compression. It will fire every once and a while but the prop doesn't even make it all the way around. I don't know what to do anymore.

turn ignition off, open throttle all the way choke it, flip prop a dozen or so times till the carb is nice and wet, now turn ignition on and it should pop.... next take choke off, lower throttle between about 1/8 throttle and it should run, unless you turned the needles out of whack...
My DL 50 hardly has any compression but runs strong.... DLE55 have a little more compression from my experince

If you put 2 or 3 cc of regular motor oil in the spark plug hole and try it. This will give you compression the engine needs for the plus in the carb to pump fuel and fire up.
Also a shot of starter fluid and off to the races.

No com pression. Bad or broken ring, bad gasket on crankcase, leaking reed valve, bad seal between carb and crankcase, bad seal in the spark plug. Also check front bearing on crank shaft.
You gotta have compression to have bang bang.
