I do not like the rear mounted carb. I am going to hold off to get the next good cheap small gasser with front mounted carb, like OS did on their 55 cc. The rear carb pushes the center of mass forward on an already heavy engine.

Maybe so, but a front mounted carb often causes cowl clearance problems.

Mike06659 My YS 120 SF will swing a 16x8 APC prop at 9500-10,000 easy MY other YS 120's are more advanced SC, NC and will swing the same prop well over 10K if I let them. I'm still thinking this one over since I do like to do some 3-D type flying, but favor IMAC.
Ed never say never and back up in a corner you may wish to get out of.
They don't have it quite yet but there getting closer all the time.

Good to see DLE taking on the glow market head on!

They have had great success with all their engines. The DLE30 I have had for the past few months in a ESM FW190 has ran very well so I expect the DLE20 will be no different. Hopefully we can pop one into my sons H9 60 size Spitfire.

I must also say well done to DLE for rear mounting the carb [sm=thumbs_up.gif]

Very nice looking engine. One thing I would like to see would be a rear exhaust option, allowing a Pitts muffler without the manifold on the side of the engine.
This is my second flying season running gas, my goal is to abandon glow totally.

It's been quite a while since I have seen an engine that I thought "Oh, man, I want that!", but this is one of those. Too bad it is going to be close to 300 bucks with shipping. If they could have kept it closer to 200 bucks I think it would do better. Don't know if I will be able to squeak one into the budget or not... Certainly not right away. []

They're gonna sell a bunch of those.
Several to me, I'd wager.

Price is going to play a large factor as to weather or not I get any of these engines , I certanly won't pay any 300 bucks for one and don't feel like supporting the chinese by buying over the pond. However if the US retailers sell them at a fair price I may get one just have to see.

Ive already ordered mine. I will be putting it into a .60 size edge.  The plane currently weighs 9 lbs. flat. I'll remove the glow engine and add the gas, with the addtion of another battery for ignition, and opti kill it will still fall under the 10 lb. mark

Ordered mine as well. Destined for a TF .60 sized Mustang. Will use a IBEF for the goal of a lightweight set up. A little pricey, but heh, I love my toys!
