Default An introduction of a new concept sino-CDI

First of all,
I need to point out we are fancier of CDI,this thread is just technological,to prove the existence of an exclusive sino-CDI, none commercial purpose so far.
We invented the first sino-auto-advance model CDI in 2003 using AT2051,with many years of research works, now we recommend our new concept CDI formally,
(the volume, voltage flexibility may be the No1 worldwide so far. )
By using a fast DSP chip, and utilizing a proper algorithm,we got the featured specs:
Ultra wide power input range, 4-14V input.
Equi energy spark: wether 4V or 14 V power supply, the spark energy and boosting curve are the same.
the current will draw down along with the raising of the power supply automatically: 550ma+-50ma at 4V, and 180ma+-50ma at 14V
ultra small volume: 44X29X25 mm
Professional epoxy resin filling, and professional vacuum HT coil technology.
Capacitive HT discharge.
enhanced EMI design, ultra stable,
............

Although in my website these CDI is available for sale, but actually in many cases, many US frends of mine has experienced this freely, this still valid so far,

but the quantity is limited and conditional.

Also, if someone or some companies want to develop some special CDI, I would give advice and help.

The representative sample:

the 20k RPM high firing rate marine CDI developed for US friend:

The practical convertion on a GMS32 glow engine using our own CDI.

Thanks for your viewing.

Always good to see further development, the operating voltage range is a plus in my book

So what does "Sino" mean in English? Is it your brand name? Or is it a technical term?

Sino is a prefix meaning: related to China. Used this way for example "We have seen a change in Sino-Soviet relations." Not sure what it means when used for ignitions. Means "Chinese CDI" to me

No, this is not,

It is only a matter of time until someone comes up with a smaller, more voltage flexible CDI. I imagine the components are out there. Someone just needed to get interested in the size of the market to design one. Why bother if you can only sell 4 or 5? We all know the market size is a lot larger than that. Especially for the smaller gassers in the smaller airframes.

Certainly. The intent is to perform ground and flight tests to verify performance and EMI propagation. If I can get it in a run room there would also be a lot of continuos running for life cycle establishment.
