Since it looks like the ignition sensor mounting boss is integral to the casting of the case I would say it's not a " conversion"

I have one, the 35cc Red Head Gasser with the same muffler, but I think mine is newer, and that Carb is different than mine, is that the 26cc engine ?
the 35cc is a strong engine, it will turn a Zinger 20X8 over 7600, and a 3W 20X8 at 7250 tuned for flight, and pull a heavy 15 pound, 82" span GeeBee Y straight up rather well, an acrobatic plane of this size should be a pond lighter than my GeeBee was, a 21X6 or 5 would be better for a big Cub or some other high wing,

Jim I'm not sure what size it is. Just looking at the physical size of the head it's in the 1.20 range. But that's only a guess. I lost by best flying bud a while back and I just recently cleaned out his shop. This was in there. I don't remember him ever bringing this to the flying site so I am in the dark with any knowledge about it.

Thanks for your input. The MVVS glow engines I've seen were real screamers. I figured the gasser was the same.

David, I just measured my 35 for you, here they are for you

bottom of the Case to the top of the head Fins... 5&3/4 inches,,, measured at the back of the engine..
Cylinder Head diameter... 2&3/4 inches,
Crank Shaft Length.. just over 2&1/2 inches, measured from the Case, NOT the Prop Drive
Carb Number.. WT561 (450),

as I compare your Carb to mine, I think your engine is the 35cc,,, you should keep it, it's a very good engine, and if you update it with a newer CH Ignition it will even be a better engine.

BTW, after that engine has sat a while, I had found that you should power up it's Ignition and let it set a while before trying to start it, maybe 3, 4 or 5 minutes or so.

Wasp it looks like this gasser might be smaller than yours. For starts the cylinder head is 2-1/2" and the top of head to bottom of crankcase is just over 5". If I compare it to the 30cc on the MVVS website my cylinder is the same diameter. If I recal yours is 1/4 bigger. If I was a little smarter I would have checked the size of the prop on it but that's no guaranty that prop was flown on it. The Walbro carb has these markings. WT 481D 313.

I didn't know they made a 30cc, but I do know they made (or maybe still do) a 26cc

yee-up, they dropped the 26 and now make a 30cc,, but it should say 30 on the side of the head

Thank Jim. that is the site I found the 30CC dimensions on. This motor has no size marking on it so I guess it could be a 26 or 30cc. It is almost 3/4 shorter than yours.

I looked at the Carb on MVVS's site with a Mag-Glass, it only increased the size of the Pixels, but the numbers sure look like 481 to me, but I'm not 100% sure

I guess I should bench mount and run the thing. I should be able to narrow the size down by how it turns different size props. Finding the time is the hard part.

It would be very easy to remove the head and measure bore and stroke. Then no guess ...
