g-23-choke lever??

Hello-got my first gas engine today and planing on installing it on 84 inch pt-26-similar in design to pt-19 with enclosed cockpit area-anyway I will get to my question-does this engine have a way to choke-I will have very limited access to carb due to cowl design and really did not want to put a velocity stack on it-thanks

RE: g-23-choke lever??

Is there more than one circular plate in the carb? If so the outboard one should be the choke 'plate/valve'. If not you could put a Ryobi type choke on the outside and rig a wire to opoerate it. The conversion site normally show the choke assembly and tell you to trim it to fit and rig a wire.
