Hi Karol, It is kind of nice to be home. The thing is though it turned very cold here in Michigan. May have frost at night. I cannot seem to get warmed up good....wife keeps the heat set too low. Got to go & get a hot shower. It is good hearing from you my Friend. John

15cc low end idle
 

Just starting to break in a RCGF 15cc (my first RCGF). From mid throttle to full, good transition and good rpm, running a 14x6 Xoar. Haven't gotten a good reliable idle yet, it wants to pulsate a lot at that lower rpm, can't decide if its a little lean or to fat. Or should I just run some more fuel through it at mid throttle and then see if its better?

Could someone tell me the gap for a CM6. I have a twin 40 and love it. Put it in a Corvus with Hitec 5645 servos and is a great prefomer for me. Running rough mid rang so checked gap. One was 30 and other was 19. Set both at 20 and runs better but want to make sure it is correct?

Wonder if anyone can figure out my problem with a new 56cc I just bought this week? I put it on test stand to start break in, and thank Got I was also trying out a new Rolling Chicken Stick also. When I flipped it it back fired and broke a new $25 prop. Put on second prop and now I'm $50 in the hole. I pulled plug and with magnet 180 from sensor (motor not turning and ignition on) plug was constantly firing. Does this sound like a sensor problem or an ignition problem. I have to call Valley View on Monday. Mike

For most engines they seem to perform best when gapped between .020" and .024". HTH.

Just a comment on plug gap over the last 30 years of running gassers I all ways set all plugs @ .024, and after a few tanks of fuel thru them check for carbon build up. even my weed whip, lawn mower , but then I only use 100 ave gas in my model engines.

Thinking about the 20cc. Anything changed since 2008?

There are several available options, some new and some old, such as, DLE20, RCGF20, NGH20, VV20 & 21, Evo 20, OS 22 (for those with deep pockets) and the Zenoah G20 to name a few.

To my knowledge, it's virtually the same engine, that's still making new friends all the time.

2 things noteworthy maybe, are that there is a 26cc beam mounted engine (that's nearly the same size and weight as the 20) that you don't hear about much (despite the fact it pulls an 18x6 easily) , and second, ValleyView RC is now involved in selling/supporting RCGF. That's a huge bonus in my book!

In fairly recent times I have found Valley View a bit fickle in their offerings as they have carried a few engines and then quite suddenly stopped. But then what do I know, that might just be the price for business progress.

I have a RCGF twin 40 that I put in a 76" Corvus. I have about 50 flights on it to date. I run Redline oil at 40:1 with regular gas. I put a 20-8 prop on her and does a wonderful job for me. Stock mufflers work fine. I get 10 min of flight time with a couple to spare on 18 oz tank. Had to cut cowl for plugs but looks fine. Hope this helps. Would buy another one in a heartbeat!

Rcgf 15 muffler
 

I need a little help I don't have one of these and I would like to know what the measurement is on the bolt holes if anyone has one and are kind enough to measure it for me I would really appreciate it.

Hi guys I have 4 RCGF 's 2-26 both stand off 2-62 stand off and a 32 stand off and have found that all are great engines for there price and reliability and because of the newer porting they produce a better power curve than some of the others, but none of them are a bad choice it's just a matter of $$$
