Default Nelson s/s set up

Hi
Can anyone tell me what is a good starting point set up, for a Nelson S/S with NO internal mini pipe in the muffler.
Head clearance, deck height, prop. Believe this set up was/is run in Canada.

Thanks Geoff

If that's a quickie engine ur talking about, then Ray gave you Q40 numbers!??

189 to 192 liner height.. Total clearance at TDC, try .010 to .013.. something like that.. I would try 190 and .010 to start.

Maybe Randy Smith will jump in here, he runs the Canadian set up...

Hi
Yes the numbers did seem abit high My normal Q500 settings are 192/14-16 flying at or close to sea level with 10%nitro fuel.
As the Nelson has no mini pipe in the new set up, I was wondering if the linner should be dropped right down as there is no longer any scavege or boost from the muffler.
