PDA Stopwatch for Pylon Racing
I've got to take a break from airplane development and flying field work to do some career development. I'll still be working on planes, but on my own schedule.
I've been looking for a stopwatch for either the Palm OS or the Pocket PC and haven't found one with all of the features for pylon racing I would like for it to have.
Since I'm focusing on the Microsoft .NET foundation, I have considered writing my own for the Pocket PC.
Some things I have considered are:
* Having up to two timers.
* Showing a lap time list.
* Selecting 10 or 11 laps after timing is over, or allowing a double click after 10 to indicate a clean heat.
* Record details about the flight: airplane, engine, prop, radio model selection, etc.
* Uploading to a PC for printing, cataloging, analyzing, ...
If you have a Pocket PC with CE 3.0 and are interested in helping with the testing and making suggestions let me know.
If you don't have a Pocket PC, but have ideas about how such a program should look and work, please let me know.
I may port it to the Palm OS at some point (later next year maybe).
