RC Pylon Memories
There are a lot of people from this community and from the past on Facebook. I came up with the idea to have a place for people to share their old pylon photos, stories, and other things in the social atmosphere of Facebook.
I had gone down to my Dad's on Saturday and picked up a bunch of old K&B motors and some Stegall Minnow fuselages. As well as some non-pylon stuff.
I woke up on Sunday thinking I bet there are a lot of old photos that people have that would be fun to see and hear about.
So I created the https://www.facebook.com/rcpylonmemories/ page on Facebook.
This is a place to reminisce and just have a good time remembering the "old days". Or even the new days. I even added a photo of a control line speed plane because a lot of people that flew pylon came from C/L speed or flew it.
So if you are on Facebook, please come join in the fun. Post messages or photos. If you have an album of photos you want to upload, I can make you an Editor as it is a pain for non Admins to upload a bunch of pictures in one shot, but very easy if you are an Editor.
So get those scanners cranked up and I can't wait to see what develops.

The 1973 NMPRA Pylon Racing Book is now available on the http://rcpylonmemories.com/NMPRA/nmpra_book/default page of the new companion site to this Facebook page at http://rcpylonmemories.com/ ... The new site should work on phones, tablets, and computers. So you can get to information from anywhere.
The goal for this web site (http://rcpylonmemories.com) and Facebook combo is to celebrate pylon racing since its beginning all the way to the present.
Facebook is very transient and since we are collecting memories there, content from Facebook and other sources will be added to this page for the long term.
Facebook is very good for photos, but we need a place for all kinds of documents including PDF files and other files like plans.>
This site will constantly be revised so visit often.
