RE: plyon size engine .15?
Hi,
I have been flying a scratch built 15 size model with an OS 15 LA. It is named Wild-Pudding, and flys quite nicely. It has flown past 100Mph, and does really nice pylon type turns. It has 48 inch vacume bagged ellipical glider wings, and a simple balsa box fuse. Since it has glider wings, it really floats in for landing, and I have even done a bit of thermalling with it.

Yeah, unfortunately I didnt win but got second I flew 2 rounds with this and 2 rounds with my Sportsman pylon racer, which actually went better cause I got some take-off points, and it had a rudder for better stall turns...Suprised the hell out of some people including myself.

I bought a .15 sized AJ-2 from Kevin Matney a couple years back. Give him a try at www.matneymodels.com (I'm pretty sure thats the address). I'll finally be putting mine together now that I found the ultimate engine for it...an Irvine XR .15 FIRE. Out of the box with an APC 7x4...20 grand!
