What has happened to the "Quote" feature.

When I highlight the text I want to quote in the reply box and hit "Quote"the two "Quote" inserts are side by side at the end of the text.

Do I need to change a setting?

Ed, there is a quote link in the upper right hand corner of the post you're looking to quote..

Ed,

You can use the quote button as Lee has indicated or you can press the "quote" button from within your message in which case you need to place your quoted text between the (quote) and the (/quote) tags. I replaced the brackets with perenthesis so that it would not appear as a quote
like this.

As I had never "quoted" before, I thought this was a good time to try it.

I know that I would not have had to actually post it, but what the heck.

Thanks,

Edited to test the other method. Interesting, one way you get too much, the other, you copy and paste between the codes.

Thanks for the info.
