Default Racing tires

I need reccomendation as to suitable streamlined racing tires in about 2 3/8 inch diameter. I keep getting handed some foam tires at the local shops, and the model wiggles around just sitting on a table with these mounted. During takeoff, this will make the model use up all four lanes of the freeway. I think I need different brand/style, and would appreciate an appropriate late model name/title/manufacturer mention. Must be rubber tread, and about 11/16" wide at the hub.

In the swap shop arena of the recent AMA Convention, came across couple of vendors selling obsolete tires for little. Bagged them up into some plastic shopping bag, but somehow they did not make it home. If any reader has them, please let me know.

Default RE: Racing tires

This is the closest thing the racers would have to what you are looking for:

go to www.darrolcady.com

Click on racing accessories on the left side of the screen.

Scroll down a ways till you see Streamlined wheels. They are 2 1/4" tall, but probably only a 1/4" wide. They have a rubber insert and come in different colors.
