WPS APRA, 428 & 422 race June 9th and 10th at the Basin
Remember guys the 5th and 6th races in the Western Pylon Series are coming up June 9th and 10th at the Basin. Classes, as usual, will be APRA (424), 428 and 422. Each day will be a complete race with plaques to 3rd and fast time in all classes. LS Q500 engines will be permitted both days in 428. Most of the west coast heavy hitters will be there including four or five of the guys who just swept the first seven places at the Melnik CZ F3d race this weekend and the 422 and 428 record holder. I expect times and racing will be great. At the APR WPS race the existing Q40 record set by Matias Salar in PHX was bested at least 7 times with Travis Flynn ending up with the record at 58:50. This will be the first time these guys have been able to race the LS Q500 engine and if it’s any where near as good as the LS Q40 engine records should fall. We expect about 50 entries spread over the three classes. So come on out and race, help or watch. It’s going to be great.
Pre entries are always appreciated.
