RE: Starting clock
Pete Reed makes starting clocks. I will see if I can find the email from him.

I have had questions about count down clocks for starting races and when
I went to try to find out how the few that there were came to be I
couldn't find anyone who knew exactly how they came upon the mechanism. I
have a source of a robust 60 second mechanism that cocks and locks and is
released by the push of a small button near the center of the clock. I
offer clocks custom built like the photo herewith for $85.00 plus
shipping. You might pass the message on if you would.
