Off-Course Light System: Request for Proposal
The Calgary Miniature Pylon Racing Association in Calgary, Alberta, Canada has received government grant money to acquire an off-course light system for MAAC and NMPRA District 3 sanctioned pylon races.
The CMPRA is presently accepting contract proposals for the design and construction of an off-course light signalling and lap display system for three pole racing capable of signalling four RC pylon aircraft simultaneously. Race course dimensions comply with the MAAC, NMPRA and AMA rules. For ease of set-up and portability within the district, a light signalling and lap display system, which primarily uses wireless technology to actuate the lights and lap display board, is preferred. However proposals for traditional cabled technology and electro-mechanical switches, or a hybrid version utilizing a combination of both technologies, will be considered.
Please submit all proposals for consideration by email to Randy Smith, [email protected]
thanks.
