Default P-63 QM .15 racers Pictures

Here are a couple of P63 QM racers. I think one belonged to Greg Doe and the other was owned by Stu Richmond.

One had a regular tail and the other had a V-tail.

Those are great as well as the pics of Jim Katz in your other thread.
Are you the same guy who lived in Clt a few years ago and did a bunch of foamy designs?

CLT is the airline designation for Charlotte [8D]

Dan, Once again thanks for the memories! The young man in the red shirt is my son Tom. He
will be 32 in a few months. I got a lot of grief on the V Tail, but it is authenic. Bell Aircraft built
at least 2 V Tailed prototypes, but could not interest the military, because piston powered
aircraft were on the way out, because of jets. Bell also built a swept wing P63 to study how they
worked, and to gain knowledge that could be applied to future jet designs. Greg

Hi Greg,

I thought that was your boy but wasn't sure so I figured if I posted it you could comment.

Man, do I miss seeing those little screamers rounding the pylons. Great times.
