Default Please help me figure out what engine this is..

I won this engine along with 2 OPS 40 marine engines in a auction. I know its a Super Tigre. The other night I pulled the head off and mic'd it, I came up with .39ci so I am assuming it would be sized as a 40. I would like to know what model it is, what fuel to run in it, any kind of power/ rpm info you may have on it and if it is worth messing around with or not. It looks like it has never been ran. The only markings on it are Super tigre on one side and made in Italy on the other. It is also stamped with the numbers 74 on the bottom of the block.

I would really appreciate any info you may have on this engine.

Thanks,
Tim

Supertigre .40 rear intake pylon racing engine. This is the model before the Schneurles. Early 1970's.
