Well Saturday was my only racing. I found out Sunday morning Futaba transmitters are not water proof. Looks like she back to Futaba for a drying out!!! Hey, at least I came home with the same amount of airplanes I left with!!! Excellent race, well organized and fun to be there!!

I really think that your plane was the fastest in 424. Hopefully it won't get drenched next time and you will still have all you planes to take home in the same amount of pieces that they arrived in.

Bruce, I know he has made lazer cut kits in the past. I emailed him and asked him if he was going to make another run of them. If interested youi should do the same and if enough are interesred hopefully he will make a run.

Guys, Vicman has all cut files and a few kits if you want one of the Wham Bops. I stopped making kits sometime ago and Vic took on the venture.
Thanks Barry for the kind comments. The Wham Bop Special has come a long way with the help of Jim Katz's trimming. Hopefully we will see her potential at the spring race!!

An afternoon test flying/trimming with Jimmy is like nothing else. It's amazing how much I pick up from him every time.

So Bob, did you have to send your Tx off or did it come back to life? My 9C got wonky Saturday evening too.

Still no screen so she may go off. May be cheaper to buy another seeing how mine out of warranty!!! Got a few more things to try. Next time I will put it in the car!!!:eek:

About the time I thought about putting mine in the truck it got wonky.
I haven't messed with it yet. I'll take it and the Rx out to the field for a range test this weekend.
This might just be the right opportunity to send it and all the old Rxs I have needing repair to Radio South.

I want to thank Jim, Liz, Mike, and all the rest of the crew for putting on a great race. This is one of the best put on races you will ever come to.

I have not raced in 2 years. It was nice to see a lot of the people that I had made friends with over the years.

A couple of years ago, I lost the desire for racing. Several people and especially Bill Johanson kept at me to come back. It brought back a lot of good memories.
Bill Johanson is an outstanding caller and friend.
