After double checking the root, middle and tip ribs I printed the rest and started cutting and dry fitting them. I measured the height from my flat surface to the center line and shimmed it where needed to set the foil like it was at 0 incidence, after revising all 4 corners of the wing I installed the wing tube and check also the height in 2 spot to be sure there's no dihedral in the wing assemble because it don't call for any.

Now after doing some really big lightening holes I started gluing everything in place and shimming the ribs until the glue dries to prevent twisting. As right now every rib height is the same at the leading edge and at the trailing edge.

Here's a couple of pictures of the wing after more build up (cross braces, aileron TE) and a dry fit to the fuselage. As right now I have it sanded and tomorrow I will put some balsa (1" thick) between the root and the second rib. After that I will start sheeting in one side and then build the aileron servo bay.

I have been working in the past days building different areas of the plane simultaneously to speed up the process because I'm waiting for a work visa to go to Peru. So far I still building. I started to lay out the servo bay for the ailerons, after locating the position I glued 4 pieces of 3/8 balsa to support the 3/8 spruce sticks. After gluing everything I started cutting the opening for the servo in the sheeting. Also I started laying out the servo bays that are going to be placed inside the wings and the servo covers then I laid out the position of the sheeting applied the glue and proceeded to continue sheeting the wing and held everything in place using clamps, tape and velcro straps. While the glue in the wing dried I continued sheeting the turtle deck. To bend the curvature of the turtle deck into the wood I used the old alcohol dampening method. I sprayed the wood, placed the sheeting and held it in place with velcro straps and painters tape. At the same time I worked in building an instrument panel while the glue was drying. Also I continued sheeting the bottom of the fuselage.

Also I was able to finish and paint the hatch and build a instrument panel out of balsa.

Well picture wise it seems like i didn't achieve too much today but it was a really productive day. I started the day by roughly sanding the sheeted areas (Turtle deck, belly pan and the wing I'm working on). Then I started to cut my servo tray for the wings. After that I finished the sheeting of the bottom of the left wing. Also finished the cutting of the lightening hole in the right wing rib set. I hope to have another productive day tomorrow.

By the way in the picture of the file and the pencil wrapped in sanding paper those were the 2 things I used to shape the slot in the servo tray after cutting it roughly with a Rotozip rotary tool. Pretty simple and the results are really good. As a matter of fact all the round holes you see thru the entire built were sanded by covering something of the same diameter or close enough with sand paper. Sometimes it takes a while to find a can or something round of the proper size.
