Default HELP with 89" spitfire ID

Can anyone identify this model? It is 89" Spitfire. Fiberglass fuse, foam wing with balsa covering. Here is the only identifying symbol on the plane.

You should put this in the warbirds forum - lots more warbird people would see it there to get an id quicker.
