Default Just Getting Started....First Gasser

Looking to take a step into the gasser arena and was hoping for a little advise on my first plane. Made an impluse buy on a DLE 30 (v2) and now in search of a plane to go with. I've been searching through tons of threads and kinda narrowed it down to a couple of planes that seem to be well reviewed; Sbach and MXS-R. Im still completely open to others that I may have overlooked but I was hoping for some advise on which one might be a little more forgiving or less of a handfull to fly.

Thanks in advance

Have you looked at a Funtana? I built one for my grandson with a MDL30 and it performs very nice.

Great motor choice, now it depends on what type of flying you want to do. Aeroworks has a few choices, great airplane but tends to be a little heavy for 3D. 3DHS is coming out with a new Edge540, should be an excellent choice for 3D. Pilot's S-bach is another good choice and the list goes on and on and on.

Thanks for that......
I really do like the looks of the Pilot RC kits and am thinking of going that route. I'm a little torn between the Yak and Sbach. In terms of flight characteristics and entry into 3D, which one would you pick?

Since this is your first plane either one would be fine. Pick the one that looks best to you and have fun. Pilot can't be beat. Dennis

Thanks for your advice, I went with the Pilot RC Yak.

I hate asking so many newbie questions but as far as servos go....which ones would be a good match for this sized and type of plane? I have a Futaba system but am open to all compatible brands.  Thanks again....
