Default Scratch Built Laser

Just finished up on the covering and paint on my latest. The cowl and wheel pants are from the Lanier kit, the rest is of my design. Covering is Ultracote white with Monokote Met. red and met. blue trim. The paint is Pactra R/C car sprint white and colors are Dupicolor with Spray Max clear. All paint was spray cans. Finished weight should be 16 lbs give or take. Power is DLE 55 with MTW canister, KS header. Radio is Hitec Aurora 9 and Savox servos. Hope to get her all finished up and maidened sometime next month. The lovely redhead is my wife and assistant foam cutter.

Thanks David. This is actually my second one. The first had a flat tail and flew very well. There were some improvements made to this one so I am expecting even better but won't know until she starts getting flown. When I do the maiden I will of course report back. I was also thinking about a detailed report on trimming. How to correctly set CG, throws, expo, thrust angles, mixing and such. I would be doing this in proper order and over several flying sessions. Any interest?

Thanks Dave, as of now I plan to do the maiden there in Sac on one of our trips up there. If you are interested in being there let me know and I will let you know as I get her closer.
