Seagull .90 Yak 54
I have a Seagull Yak 54 with a DLE 20 installed for power. There is one servo for each wing half and each servo is connected to its own channel (no Y harness).
On the maiden flight, I trimmed the plane for hands off level flight at about two thirds power. When the plane is rolled to the right, it has a very axial movement. I would say it is perfect. However, when rolled to the left, there is a slight corkscrew movement to the plane, not quite axial.
Why does it do that and what needs to be done to correct the problem. I'm thinking it might have something to do with prop wash but not sure. Come to think of it, I've had a number of planes over the years that roll one way just about perfect and not so well the other direction.
I am aware that aileron differential can be programmed in to get an axial roll but why the difference between a right and left roll?
Thanks....Mike

RE: Seagull .90 Yak 54
I have had this plane and did not have the symptoms you describe. My ailerons were connected thru a "Y", so maybe there is something in your radio set up that is giving dissimilar inputs to yours. Have you measured the amount of throw you are getting?
