Default Paolo Severin 50% Bucker Jungmeister

I would like to present you a wonderful biplane: a 50% scale Bucker Jungmeister
My model was built as a prototype by Paolo Severin, Italy.
Paolo likes to build "simply like the real" airplane...
The fuselage is in welded tubes, the ribs are like true ribs!
My plane weights around 66pounds for 132" span.
She flies beautifully.

Benoit,

Does it really fly that slow? It's like watching an aerial ballet. Enjoyed it.

Awsome!
That was a really nice display of classic aerobatic flying with a beautiful aircraft.
Congratulation on owning the prototype of what is probbably the best scale kit ever produced.

Thank you, I appreciate your nice comments and I am very pleased that you like the video.
The 50% Bucker is indeed rather slow due to the huge wing area and the relatively low weight. I think that the big size also enhance the slow speed effect. The real Jungmeister is not that fast, at around 130mph top level speed. The half scale model should not be far from half that speed. Here is a nice exemple of the real one:

That is simply stunning. This is a favourite plane of mine and to see it flown that well is pure poetry. Well done. I would love to have a big Jungmeister one day. Is this model commercially available or just a unique project?
Regards Al

Thank you Ali,

This 50% Jungmeister is unique and not produced as a kit.
You can find infos about the 33% Jungmeister kit on Paolo Severin's website

Just fly!
