Default Biplane Top wing servos to fuselage

Hey everyone. I'm currently building and almost completed a BME pitts challenger and I'm trying to strike up some ideas for the top wing servo wires/plugs. On how to plug into the fuse almost like a charging receptacle and have a clean look to it and not to just drill holes in the fuse and call it a day with wires just hanging from the top wing. Any thoughts or Ideas? Pics/drawings or what so ever are more then welcome.

Not a lot of good options for that plane. On my Hyde Double Vision, the wires from the top wing come out of a hole between the rear cabane struts and enter the fuse just inside of one of the lower strut attach points. With rubber grommets in each of the holes, and the wires run down the cabane encased in heat shrink tubing (unshrunk), its about as clean an installation as one can get unless you wan to go to the work of deleting the top wing aileron servos and driving the upper ailerons via aileron slave rods.

You can get an idea of what the set up on the DV looks like on page 26 of this manual: www.cyber-hobbies.com/imatges/chip-hyde/DVmanualJune2005.pdf

Put a second receiver and battery pack in the top wing. No wires.

I ran the wires on my Pitts through the struts into the bottom wing over to the bottom servo. Pic one shows the strut with the extension poking out each end and the housing in the wing to plug into. Pic two is it plugged in. It can be Y'ed into the lower servo or as I did, run a wire to the Rx.

That's a pretty good Idea acerc....I would have to make custom wing struts to do something like that. Been thinking about making strait carbon fiber ones...my cat managed to get a hold of my wing strut and chew on a corner grrrr...F'in cat.

What is yours made of? Can you groove it for the wire and cover with a filler/epoxy?

It's made out of solid ply, 3 pieces glued together. Here are some photos of wing struts. I took some JR charge receptacles and went from there more photos;

Yes it is!. I had to make 2 hatches. one for the easy access smart flies and the one in between the cabanes for fuel tank access and the receptacles.

So you can run the servo wire through it. Cool

I should have took a pic with that forward hatch open but it displays the fuel take and access to servo connections...
here is a pic of my project "Big Red"
