Tim,
just some personal things. First off the color schemes where not to my liking. The one thing I really didn't like was the trailing edge of the wing panel at the root section has an additional piece that has to be attached. I called them about this and they said by doing this they could get the wings in a smaller box for shipping and save on cost. The slots for the control horns were cut all the way through to the top of the control surface and visible. Other than that the plane looks fine.

Some more pics. Got my servos in and started on the tail surfaces. Tail wheel looks pretty good. The linkage looks good except the turnbuckles were to short. The hex heads were replaced with better fitting 4/40s.

Photos of where I mounted switches, also locations of internals. Love the little rubber washers for mounting the cowl. How I mounted the choke.

Hey Iflyjr........ Fedx dropped off my early xmas to my house yesterday........My first look was better than I expected. The quality looks vary vary good on the covering, and the wood
glueing looks vary good also. I will still go over every seam I can reach with thin and Medium....also pin the firewall and fuel proof as I always do. I will use all the hardware except the Pull/pull
wire....looks a little light. Should not take to long to get her in the air.
Only negitave I see is the Aileron, and evelator slots cut out for the glue in horns, are cut on both sides.......not a big deal, sence I have matching covering...... or a well placed sticker
no one will ever know.....well at lease no one that reads this will know.LOL!!!! Enjoy the Picts.

I had a carbon fiber from my last 50cc that survived my dumb thumb into the ground.........my last 50cc was about 4 years old when it bit the dust. My carbon gear is approx. 2 inch's taller than the aluminum gear supplied with the kit...........surprising was the Aluminum and my carbon gear have the same weight. I went with ground clearance. This plane has much higher quality than my Nitroplanes 50cc yak.
Where did your cg end up ??????and did your tank go next to the wing tube?

Thanks............I'm going to use a Fuji Water bottle tank....its the first Fuji tank for me, have seen them for years and thought it time I give one a try. I am wondering why the fire wall box is so long.........my standard DLE stand offs are way to long just like yours. I only need 1 1/4 inch stand offs, vary short. I might just use 1 inch round x 1 1/4 long wood dowel rods since their so short.
