I have tried a couple times to buy a used one with no luck and since they are impossible to get I thought about finding something close to it and cover it the same scheme as the slick I like.
Correct me if I am wrong but this plane is an Edge 540? If so are there any 150cc+ out there that are close to the AJ slick one? Love the plan but found it after they stopped making so I missed out. Thanks

Just get a hold of AJ-Aircraft and preorder one of the new 123" Lasers. It can even be converted to a 115" version if you want allowing engines from 150 to 200 size.

They fly better than the Slicks and the AJ guys sold out of the initial order in an hour. Quite a few threads over on FG about the AJ Laser 230Z's.

Ah, okay I thought you were interested in the flight characteristics and since AJ designed both models with the Laser coming after he started his own company, it does fly better than the Slick.

This bird is like the hanger 9 46% ultimate, lucked up and found one new in the box, doubt that will be the case here so the search goes on LOL

yeah, I love my Ultimate but wanted one of these for the everyday flying since its easier to put together LOL

This and a large scale Wildcat are left on the bucket list, just found out I can have a kit made of the wildcat.
