Default Who makes a muffler that fits inside a TF GS P-51 Cowl for a Moki 2.10

Trying to find a muffler that will fit in the cowl and only cut holes for the exhaust outlet pipe(s).

Top Flight Giant P-51
Moki 2.10

I purchased a J-Tec ... but it does not fit.
Slimline - way too big. Looked at other web pages but found nothing so far.

I saw this plane on RCU somewhere with a cowled Moki engine ... sent a PM ... no reply ... now I lost track of the thread and can't find it.

I know there are clever people on RCU that have most likely solved this problem.

What are my options short of making my own.

Thanks

Use a Pica muffler. can't remember thier part # but I have one on my Moki 1.8 inside a Pica Spitfire and only holes are for the two exhaust tubes. G.

Thanks GPaloz

I found their Web Site, sent an E-Mail.

They only list one muffler and for a Moki 1.08 ... I hope this was a typo.

Does Moki make a 1.08 ???

I should soon find out.

Thanks Again

take a look at bisson also they have several mufflers for mokis on their site. they also might have a design for a different version that they don't show on their site, so send them an e-mail and ask them what they have.

Thanks ... I'll look into that

GPaloz

Pica E-Mailed me and said their muffler was for a side mounted engine.
Is that your setup.

My Moki is mounted inverted. Side mounting would put the cylinder outside the cowl.
I'm "trying" to keep everything inside. Quite a chore for me with this narrow P-51 cowl.

My set up is with the engine inverted. Pica's muffler bolts on with the two exhaust tubes going out the bottom. G

You might have a look at this special wrap around warbird muffler. If I remember right it was for the moki.

GPaloz

Thanks

I just received my second response from PICA ... when they said side mounted, they were referring to the exhaust port - vs a rear exhaust.

They E-Mailed the dimensions ... looks good ... just ordered it.

Thanks again ... I forgot all about Pica ... I would not have thought to contact them.
