HI Gang,

I'm almost done with my update and ready to maiden my comp-arf 2.6. Is there anyone in South Orange County,
CA who can help with set-up /engine break-in(DA100), and finally maiden?? I will fly at OCMA, here in Irvine Lake.

thanks,

FB

Well, a call to Ray LaBonte on the east coast, my former sales rep, took care of the wing screw....Thanks Ray. Now I'm seeing if I can get the dual rudder working without a equalizer ( using the mix in the 9303)

Hello All. New here. Visited the Comp-arf site. Totally different from when I visited before. I went there to look for a set of the horns that are attached into the control surfaces. Last time I looked (when I didn't need them), I found them easily on the website, as a set by themselves. Now I can't find them. I have the old stock Extra 330L 2.6m. Any help on where to go? One more thing. Can someone who's plane flies well (i.e. 3D, harriers, end over end flips etc), tell me where your cg is from the leading edgs at the wingtips. Thanks so much.

Speaking of spare parts, I have a set of Patty Wagstaff 2.6M wings, both horizontal stabs with elevators and a rudder I need to sell. All are in very good shape. I'd make someone a heck of a deal on part of all of those items. Airwayman

Hi Guys,

Could anyone help me with some templates of the landing gear mount?
I bought a beauty like this, but this part of the fuselage is damaged, and I would like to replace it.

It would avoid me from a lot of work
If anybody have one please email me with it: [email protected]
Thanks,

Vince

Hey guys,

I will be bringing this thread back to life. We have a Comp arf 2.6m extra 330L sitting there (from a long while) and we decided to bring her to flying condition. As soon as we finish our current projects (2x Yak 55M repairs, new FE J-10) we will begin working on it. It has some few damages here and than and it's previous owner removed the skin hinge and worked a normal "V" hinge, robart style. He also sanded it's original scheme so we will paint it to our costume scheme and will try to make it as light as possible.

You can find a photo of it's flying days back in 2004 and a photo of the scheme that this beauty will receive with just some small changes. I hope you like it and that i can give you some update soon

Does anyone know what years they produced the 2.6m Extra 330L? It looks like the 300sx came out around 2006. Is this when they stopped making the 330L?

I flew the 2.6m Extra 330L in IMAC during the 2003 and 2004 seasons.

If you need a definitive answer I'd say the CARF-Models Sales Reps, Andy Kane and Ray Labonte, would be the source. They have both been working with Composite-ARF/CARF-Models since then.

Thanks Dean.

I figure it came out around 2001. Because into the manual for the 300SX, which came out around 2006.
It says "based on the 330L which has been in production for 5 years."

I was just wondering if they kept making it after the 300SX came out?
