DP Edge 540 LG area repair help?
Hey gang,
Had an engine flameout today, put my plane down nice in the weeds, not a scratch except the main gear hit a stump and tweaked it back on the left side.
The left main gear leg broke off.
Anyway, took it apart and have no idea how to deal with the aluminum channel under the ply. The ply is cracked and the aluminum channel is bent, and I don't know how to get in there short of doing some serious cutting... I mean some serious cutting!
Ideas? After a few hours of hell I am leaning towards parting it out after only a few flights!!!!
