Default DA-50 on can in WH Edge??

Hi guys trying to find out some info for a friend.
Have any of you set up the Edge with a DA-50 with a header and can?
If so what can and header are you using and was their much modifying that had to be done?

Pictures of a setup would be great!

Thanks

I've got one, DA50 with a canister from MTW: [link=http://www.mtw-silencer.com/html/hauptteil_schalldampfer.html#standard]www.mtw-silencer.com/[/link] and made the exhaust manifold from stainless steel tubing, also from MTW. The manifold came in part that was silver-soldered togehter. Piece of cake, that operation.
I had to chop out part of some of the fueslage bulkheads in order to make it fit.

According to MTW, DA is their distributor in the US.

I'll try to get you some photos.

Hello Kjell!
Could you post a few tach reading of your DA-50 cannister set-up please? I am curious to see what you can get with 23x8, 22x10 or 23x10prop

It did approx 7000 on a Menz S 22x12, if I recall correctly.

That's the only prop I've tried and the only reading I have

Thank you
Based on your tach reading, MTW cannister is not 'tune cannister'. There is no RPM gain with this canister except the noise reduction.

Does tune canister exist or is there another alternative to the long tune pipe to get more power from DA-50?

There is a gain in rpm's using the correct length on the tubing from the engine to the canister. Mine is too short, because the nose of the WH Eddge isn't longer.
But I would say that the main purpose is noise reduction. This is more important than more rpm's.

Btw, more power from DA50?
It has already "sufficient" power, as they used to answer if you asked how much power a Rolls Royce car had.
