Rob' Extreme Trailer Set Up
Thought I would share a few pics of the trailer I finished a couple of months ago.
Designed for both carrying planes to and from the field, and a workshop as well, it keeps me from having to load or unload anything.
Another big feature is that all of the planes inside are put together, so at the field, it takes just seconds to be out flying..
the big extra inside is 35% and assembled in a rolling rack.. Drop the ramp door and it rolls right out ready to go.
The racks were custom made by J&L products.

we put a 12000 BTU Ac inside, along with a honda generator. It runs nice at the field.. A little irony, though.. all of the planes are electric, and the guys at the field have a good time joking about me pouring the gas into the generator to charge the batteries..

Sleeping quarters must be on the 2nd floor [X(]
Very nice, no, VERY NICE. Your 'work bench' looks more like a kitchen or a bar he he.
Yellow envy here alright [:'(]

its not too bad.. My dad and I did the work ourselves over the winter... I think I have 16K in it with the generator... The sad thing is that I might be selling it pretty soon if we end up in a certain house we are looking at... (no room at all for a trailer)....

My lord, that thing is by far the most advanced trailer I have ever seen. Kitchen/workbench and all the planes with room to spare, generator, lights, wood interior on the top, man you got it made.

we built the cabints in and they are totally melamine... so it wipes down easy and no painting. all screwed in and glued.. they have the nice european hinges, etc... The cubby holes store lots and lots of junk, which makes even me look organized.. It's pretty darn perfect for a flying trailer if you have the room for it.. (8 x 24 is the size).. The racks were made by J&L products and are completely adjustable.. Two planes can be stored broken down, the big 35% rolls in the middle, and 5 planes (2 90 size, one delta, 1 40 size and 1 25 size all fit perfect.)

That is insane... you need to put in some fold down beds and a TV.

we wired it with 50 amp service although the generator only puts out 24 amps peak.. Just enough for the AC and lights.. not much more.. To plug in the monocoat iron means turning off the AC.... If I sell it, maybe the new owner can carry the torch and add as many odds and ends as he wants.. As for me, stick a fork in it, I'm done..

RE: Rob' Extreme Trailer Set Up
Thanks for all the compliments!
I just got back from SEFF.. the second event I have been to with the new trailer..
It worked out perfectly. Everything was so convienent and easy to get to.. Several pilots, including Mark Leesburg, used it to do field repairs.. The generator ran for the entire event on less than $15.00.. The AC was left off, since all the doors were open... Overall, it sure is exciting to see people's reactions... Now if I could just fly as good as...

That's cool, but WAY, WAY over rated! Check these pictures out of a trailer packing. Mind you there are four, yes FOUR, turbine jets in this trailer. The one on top is a Top Gun Model. So, we can put all the racks, counters, shelves checkerboard floors in these all we want, but, all you need is foam. LOTS OF FOAM.
